Lothwiki.org is a free service for the Co-op Community of Madison (and also the larger international cooperative movement) set up in order to communicate new ideas and educate the community at large on the general history of co-ops in Madison, WI (and elsewhere).
Can anyone edit Lothwiki?
Yes. All you have to do is create an account.
Who runs Lothwiki?
Lothwiki is a project started by members of Lothlorien Housing collective in Madison, WI.
Who is responsible for the articles on Lothwiki?
You are! Actually, you can even edit this very FAQ, so long as the edits are helpful. This is a collaborative effort.
How can I help the lothwiki project?
You can help by adding articles and information. Use the search feature to find articles of interest and contribute knowledge to them. If the page doesn't exist yet then create it.
What topics should I write about?
What ever you think is important that you think would help the community.
How do I start a new topic?
First create a new link to the topic you would like to start then follow the link and edit the new page.
My page has been vandalized. What can I do?
You can go into the history of the page and revert it back and discuss the changes and why you think it should be so in the discussion section for the page.
How do I add pictures to a page?
click on the link to the left that says Upload File.
My log in is not working. What should I do?
Use the E-mail password function on the login page. If you still cannot access your account email: sysadmin[at]lothwiki[dot]com (don't forget to replace "[at]" with "@" and "[dot]" with ".").
What are LothWiki email accounts?
Google provides gmail accounts free of charge for use with lothwiki.com. If you already have an account you can access it at http://gmail.lothwiki.com or if you would like an account send an email to sysadmin[at]lothwiki[dot]com (don't forget to replace "[at]" with "@" and "[dot]" with ".") specifying the user name you would like.
How can i help LothWiki?
You can help by adding pages and filling in information. Or if you would prefer you can donate money towards the cost of bandwidth and maintenance for this site.
