Dear PNCers,

First talked about was general PNC2RNC bike ride thoughts.

• The dates agreed on would be 16-29th. Whether to leave on the 16th

or 17th depends on scheduling.

• It decided meetings need to split up to help focus and get down the

nitty gritty details. Thistle, Doug, Sarah-tops, and Kirstin agreed to meet on Oct. 11th at 5pm. They'll discuss the route, try to detail the days events and discuss possible places to community outreach activities as well as zine ideas

• Thistle received the dvd about the Prague bike ride. The right now

is to show it on Oct. 19th.

• They also reviewed possibilities or support vehicles and the fact we

made need a sliding scale to help pay for the food and such.

• There is also a desire to put on zine detailing the ride, it's

vision, and what participants can do.

• There's a woman by the name Calico that helped with the 2004 march

that wants to lead a Seeds of Peace bus to do the cooking for the bike ride.

Next we talked about PNC

• The status of co-sponsorship from a dept. is still out. We've

received two declines; one from the poli sci and one from the Nelson Institute. If we get co-sponsorship, we can move ahead and reserve rooms in the Union and have the event open to the public. If we don't get the sponsorship, our events within the union would be limited to students and faculty due to only having student group sponsorship. If responses aren't positive by mid oct., we'll begin looking into local venues like the Historical Society building to host large speaking events.

• Selena showed everyone the images/pictures she drew for the PNC. The

sketches were very amazing and promising. With a few minor adjustsments, we'll have an image to go on all our pamphlets and flyers by Mid Oct. that'll represent the PNC !! :) We'll have her keep these preliminary and store them in an image folder on the Infoshop computer.

• Milaukee Consulta: Clint, Sarah-tops, Thistle (Fri-sat) and possibly

Josh.

Obligations: Sarah~ Go to Bike Meeting and prepare to discuss routes/towns/days. Develop an image for the PNC2RNC ride zines an posters. Talk to MessHall Press about helping with posters.

Luke~Go to ISV meeting and work up some volunteers. Working on Connecting the Nobody '08 campaign to the PNC.

Clint~Contact rest of student groups(K-Z). Develop structure for PNC events. Brainstorm some reasonable objectives for monthly goals. Start contacting the Local list of activists/organizations.

Thistle~Find location for prague movie. Get car and housing for Milwaukee Consulta. Develop logo ideas for Bike ride. go to bike meeting Oct 11th
